LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES – Jesus opens our hearts & minds to new, exciting possibilities, without limits.

SCRIPTURE:  “. . . they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified.  But he said to them, ‘It is I; don’t be afraid.’  Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.”  –  John 6:19-21 NIV

TURNING POINT:

The story of Jesus walking on water is well known.  It is difficult for many to believe.  If there is any story in the Bible that people have a hard time swallowing, this would be one of them.  But if you can believe this story, then you must also believe that Jesus has the power and authority to do wonderful things in us and with us today!  And if you believe that about Jesus, then that leaves you with no excuses for not moving on with the things you know deep down in your heart you should be about.

The Higher Choices Compass promotes dreaming, visioning, and limitless thinking.  For a vision to be effective in helping you experience abundant life, it has to be free of unwarranted constraints.  We limit our lives by assuming some things cannot happen.  The New Testament tells of many of Jesus’ miracles.  Most of them were to heal the sick.  What sticks out most to me are those who boldly approached Jesus with total, amazing faith that they would indeed be healed.  The Roman Centurion especially knew all things were possible through Christ (Matthew 8: 1-13).  In Mark 9:21 a father seeking healing for his boy said to Jesus “But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”  “’If you can’?” said Jesus.  “Everything is possible for him who believes.”

What is holding you back from living an abundant life?  What do you have to be afraid of?  If you believe that God only wants the best for you, there is nothing to be afraid of.  Notice the last few words in the scripture above:  “immediately the boat reached … where the were heading.”  When you Chart the Course in cooperation with God, orienting to True North, you will travel with God to a sure destination.
